悉尼越剧团：海外唯一的越剧团

悉尼越剧团成立于 2003 年 9 月，是海外唯一的越剧团，越剧表演艺术家徐玉兰、金采风亲自从国内前来剪彩。三年多来，该团从清唱到折子戏专场，为旅澳华人和西人多次演出，其布景、道具不断完善，迄今已经发展到配备中英双语字幕唱词。演员逐渐年轻化、知识化、流派纷呈。越剧团的奉献精神获得中外观众的好评。目前这朵中华文化的奇葩已经融入到澳洲主流社会。

Sydney Shaoxing Opera Troupe

Born in September 2003, Sydney Shaoxing Opera Troupe is the first and only Shaoxing opera troupe in the world accept the Chinese mainland. Shaoxing Opera masters Xu Yulan and Jin Caifeng made a special trip to Sydney to extend their congratulations on its birth. In the last three years or more, this art troupe has devoted a large number of stage performances both to the Chinese speaking and non-Chinese speaking viewers while growing from solos to episode performances with ever improving stage property. Now its presentations are accompanied with bilingual captions. The actresses of different singing styles are becoming younger and more cultivated. This flower in the Chinese arts is integrating into the mainstream of the multiculturalism of Australia.
