　　《过把瘾》栏目本着弘扬民族文化，传播戏曲知识，活跃群众文化生活，满足戏迷需求，真诚为戏迷朋友服务为宗旨。

　　《过把瘾》作为一个戏曲类的综合性栏目，以知识性、参与性、娱乐性为主，主要收视对象是广大的戏曲爱好者，现场参与以普通观众为主。实践证明普通观众参与节目，更生动、更有活力、更有亲切感。栏目内有几个小版块，如画脸谱、猜猜看、大家唱、戏曲知多少等，还有访谈性节目“名门之后”，趣味性节目“轶闻趣事”等。
