中国共产党优秀党员，第四届全国人大代表，第九届全国政协委员，国家级非物质文化遗产项目（京剧）代表性传承人，京剧界德高望重、国内外具有广泛影响力的北京京剧院著名京剧表演艺术家、京剧谭门第五代传人、京剧谭派艺术掌门人、中国戏曲学院研究生导师谭元寿同志因病于2020年10月9日12时许在京逝世，享年92岁。
